Avocados are one of my favorite secret ingredients on Keto. Bursting with healthy fats and low in carbs, it’s hard to find a reason not to use avocados while on Keto.

Ingredients: Keto bread, ripe avocado, lime juice, tomato, pistachios, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil.

This one has the additional flavor of the tomato and the chopped nuts give a lovely twist to the texture, however, if you have a nut intolerance, just leave them out! Ingredients: tuna fish, cooked bacon, scallions, fresh flat-leaf parsley, rib celery, Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning Blend, ripe avocado, lemon juice, black pepper, English cucumbers.

This is a perfect recipe for people who don’t or can’t, use mayonnaise to bind the salad together. The creamy texture of the avocado makes a fabulous substitute, making this salad a great filling for cucumber boats. You may like to peel the cucumbers first as the skin can be slightly tough, but you can tell when you cut them whether you need to do this.

Ingredients: ground chicken, dry ranch mix, bacon, fresh parsley, TABASCO® Sauce, avocado, lemon juice.

If you have never tried Tabasco sauce, I would be cautious how much you use for the first time as it is normally very hot! Having said that, it really brings out the flavor of the chicken and adds a lovely warmth to the burgers. These would be great to serve next time you have friends round and can be served on low-carb buns or in lettuce wraps.

Ingredients: ripe avocados, coconut cream, lime juice, fine sea salt, ground black pepper, fresh cilantro, ground cumin, garlic powder, extra-virgin olive oil, shrimp.

This salsa is the best one to serve on a hot day as it has loads of fresh flavors from the strawberries and mint, and the radish adds a little bit of heat and crunch, all complementing the creamy flesh of the avocado.
